This small beach is hard to top for natural beauty. Playa de Arenal de Sonabia is a deep crescent just 100 meters wide located on a small bay, with an impressive mountain rising dramatically from its west side (where there is a much-photographed natural arch called Ojo del Diablo) and a smaller hill on the east side. While nudity is well-established here, textiles are often the majority.

Parking is atop the hill on the east side of the beach, where several steep trails descend to the beach. Alternatively, you could park in Sonabia and take a longer but much gentler trail to the beach.
