The main part of Playa de Saturrarán is a 300-meter-long sandy beach that faces west, looking across the bay to the port of Ondarroa. This part of the beach is textile. Walk to the north end of the beach, and there are cement steps over the rocks that lead to a small, north-facing, sandy cove. Another even smaller cove is just beyond. These hidden coves draws a mostly nude crowd. There are large areas of partially submerged rocks just offshore that form natural shallow pools which are popular with bathers.
