Cala del Pilar is a beautiful 250-meter-long cove of reddish sand on a very remote part of Menorca. The beach is generally uncrowded except during the height of summer. Nudity is always acceptable here, but—as is the case with many of the island's beaches—there is a much higher percentage of nudists when the beach is not overcrowded. The final 2.5 kilometers of the road to the beach is unpaved. If you make it all the way to the end of the road, the hike to the beach is about 800 meters. However, you may find it necessary to park before the road ends if it gets too rough.
