Playa del Inglés is a scenic beach located just beyond (north of) the seaside village of La Playa Calera. The beach has a stretch of black sand of about 250 meters, with areas of volcanic rock extending a few hundred meters in both directions. At the northeast end of the beach, a majestic, rugged mountain of multiple earthen hues rises abruptly. Nudity is well established at Playa del Inglés, and there may be a a nudist majority or a textile majority, depending on when you visit.

Playa del Inglés is easily reached by car, and it is the best established and most-attended nude beach on the island.
