Playa de los Patos is a beautiful black-sand beach that extends about one kilometer. This beach is backed by rugged, dark cliffs and is situated below a large banana plantation. When you descend the stairs to the beach, you will be toward the far west end, which is likely to be mostly or all textile. Facing the water, look to your right and you will see a small scree of rocks across the sand. These rocks effectively divide the beach into two areas. Go east across the rocks and you will begin to encounter nudists, and there tends to be more nudity the farther along you go. This beach mostly disappears at high tide.
