Meia Praia is a long beach immediately east of Lagos. It stretches about 5 kilometers, from the Lagos marina eastward to the mouth of the Alvor estuary. Near the eastern end of the beach, an area at the eastern edge of the Palmares golf course is popular with nudists. Most nudists gather slightly west of the pinpointed parking lot. The area slightly east of the lot has more of a gay vibe.
