Praia da Ursa is sporadically attended by nudists. As a "sometimes/maybe" nude beach, it doesn't really fit the criteria we use for defining a beach as nudist. However, we've bent the rules for Ursa because it is well worth a visit even if you don't get naked.
Ursa is an extraordinarily scenic beach at the base of a steep bluff. Its most notable geographic features are the huge twin rock spires at the waterline that resemble mini-Matterhorns rising from the ocean. Many sources rank Ursa as Portugal's most beautiful beach. Ursa is just one kilometer northeast (as the crow flies) of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe. Cabo da Roca is a popular tourist destination.
Ursa requires a reasonable level of fitness to reach. The descent is steep. The return trip is quite tiring. Most photographs of the beach are taken from a distance by tourists who don't actually hike to the beach. This means that Ursa is often suitable for nude bathing, but there are plenty of times when only textiles are present. If no one else is naked, try exploring the niches at the southern end of the beach for privacy. Also, Ursa is not far from Praia da Adraga, the northern end of which is more known for nudity than is Ursa. Adraga is about 8.5 kilometers away via route N247, or about half that distance if you can find your way through the curvy, unmarked roads through Ulgueira.
