By the time you reach this point, you'll have walked over half an hour from the parking lot. The reward is spectacular scenery. The beach sits below vertical white walls of limestone, and the view to the north of the Courtine headland is especially dramatic.

Nudity occurs on the extreme south end of this beach, where a small headland forms the southern boundary. Small crowds here are predominantly gay men.

The nudist area is on a very narrow part of the beach that is deluged during high tide. Plage du Tilleul is also known as Plage de la Valleuse d'Antifer.

Be sure to explore the coast a few kilometers to the north of the beach (toward Etretat) for views of dramatic arches.
