A short section of the beach at Corton Sands is visited by naturists. Just across the street from parking at Dip Farm, a short, broad, slightly downhill path cuts through the woods to the beach. At the beach, turn left and walk north about 150 yards and you'll reach the start of the naturist area, which extends north and ends a bit before the caravan park that overlooks the beach. The naturist area is at most 200 yards long and is roughly indicated by the red line. Attendance is mostly male, with the north end toward the caravan park being a popular gay gathering place. Common complaints include the gender imbalance, that naturists are cordoned into a small area and that the naturist section, which is generally lacking in sand, is not the best stretch of beach in the area. Nonetheless, there are often a few dozen bare bodies here.

This short span used to be officially designated for naturism, with signs at both ends clearly indicating the boundaries. However, the official sanction was withdrawn by local authorities effective November of 2009, for reasons apparently related to an excess of indiscreet behavior.
