Holkham Hall Beach is a long beach that is continuous with the beach of Wells-Next-the-Sea. This beach is owned by the Holkham Hall Estate but open to public use, and the estate has designated the western end of the beach for naturist use. Holkham Hall Beach is generally regarded as the premier nude beach of East England, having ample dunes and beautiful sandy expanses. From the beginning of the nude area, where there is a small and easy-to-miss sign announcing naturist use, the beach continues west for the better part of two miles before ending at an inlet, and there are no points of access from the west end. Nudists thus have ample room for long walks. There seems to be a lot of nude sunbathing in the dunes even through there are signs asking visitors to use only the open beach. The beach is occasionally patrolled by an estate warden. This beach gets some family attendance, and gay men populate the farther reaches.

Beach parking is about 1.3 miles north of Holkham Hall Estate house, which is a popular tourist attraction. If you backtrack along Lady Ann's Road and keep going straight across A149, you'll reach the estate house.
