Malltraeth Bay and Llanddwyn Bay are adjacent beaches backed by Newborough Warren, an expansive coastal forest. These beaches are located on the Isle of Anglesey, which is not really discernible as an island on maps. The narrow Menai Strait separates the island from the mainland, and there are two bridges that cross the strait. Malltraeth Bay and Llanddwyn Bay collectively span almost 5 miles, with just one public point of access, which is near the center point (of the two beaches considered as a whole). As you might expect, there is ample room here for nude bathing. Discreet nudity does occur, mostly at Malltraeth Bay.

When you arrive at the large parking lot and go to the beach, you will be on Llanddwyn Bay. Facing the sea, turn to you right, and you will see prominent Llanddwyn Island (pinpointed). Despite the name, it is only an island at high tide. Otherwise, it is more of a peninsula, just barely connected to the mainland by an isthmus of sand. Walk north to this isthmus, which is just short of a mile from the parking lot. On the other side, you'll be at Malltraeth Bay, which is less used due to the length of the walk. However, you still need to keep walking north before stripping down—at least half a mile, maybe a bit more.

Nudist attendance here is rather low. Don't expect to encounter more than a handful of bare bathers. Furthermore, nudity is possible due to the sheer size of the beach, not because of any kind of real tolerance. If textiles approach, covering up is a good idea. If you see a vehicle on the beach, it is probably the warden, so covering up is an even better idea.

The beach is exceptionally beautiful, with views of the mountains across the water in the distance. Although most nudists seem to prefer the north end of Malltraeth Bay, the south end of Llanddwyn Bay likewise provides ample opportunities for discreet nudity.
