This is a seaside swimming location, commonly just called a "bathing place." Steps lead down to the sea, with ladders providing access to the water. Nude bathing is well established here, but the exact nudity protocol seems a bit indefinite. Nude bathing is apparently most common in the morning hours. Later in the day, nudity is also possible, but would-be nudists tend to yield to the sensibilities of textiles who were there first. If you're keen on skinnydipping, show up in the morning. Otherwise, take a swimsuit as a backup in case only textiles are present. There is a changing room just above the water. Almost all the skinnydippers here are men.

There is also a small, rocky cove just west of the main bathing area—about 100 meters to your right if you are facing the water. Nude sunbathing is possible here, but access requires agility and caution as the path to the cove is badly eroded.

Just a bit of trivia: Bono—the lead singer of U2—lives about 1.5 kilometers farther down Vico Road (i.e., to the south). The large iron gates of the property are near the intersection with Swathmore Road.
