Land's End Beach draws just a small number of visitors even on the warmest days. Nudity is well established here, but you may encounter only half a dozen or fewer nudists—virtually all men—at any given time. Rangers sometimes patrol the trails for lewd conduct, but nudity is tolerated. There are a few sandy spots among the rocks. Swimming is not permitted, and the wind can be very cool, even in summer. On clear days, the views from Land's End are spectacular.

Land's End is not nearly as popular as nearby Baker Beach (and adjacent Golden Gate Bridge Beach).
