Marshall's Beach (also part of the GGNRA) is the next beach north of Baker Beach and the two beaches are just 500 feet apart, separated by a couple of rocky outcroppings. Trying to get from one beach to the other at sea level is possible but dangerous, so attempting to scramble over the outcroppings is highly inadvisable. Marshall's Beach (alternately known as Golden Gate Bridge Beach) is even closer to the bridge than is Baker, but it is far less known than Baker since it is much more hidden. Access is not obvious, and limited signage pointing the way to the beach is not terribly conspicuous. Marshall's is narrower than Baker, and the slope of the shoreline makes most of it invisible to tourists at the Golden Gate Bridge. Thus, Marshall's is also attended by nudists.
Marshall's Beach is not quite half a mile long, and a collection of boulders along the beach divides it into two similarly sized segments. Nudity occurs along the entire the beach, but nudists tend to gravitate to the more secluded northern part of the beach (closer to the bridge) since the southern part of Marshall's is visible from the access trail. While Baker Beach attracts a very mixed crowd, Marshall's is visited very heavily by gay men. The beach draws crowds on warm, clear days, and there are usually at least a few nudists there even when the weather isn't optimal.
Baker Beach is quite easy to access, but Marshall's presents more of a physical challenge. There are a couple of approaches to Marshall's. Either way, you will be hiking at least half a mile along trails with lots of steps and no handrails. The trails are no problem for those who are in reasonably good shape provided the weather is clear and dry. If it is wet, windy or foggy, extra caution is in order. Also, look out for poison oak on the trails. There are toilets in the parking lot at Baker Beach, but Marshall's Beach is completely undeveloped.
