Cobblers Beach is a legal nude beach on the north side of the Middle Head peninsula, a driving distance of about 10 kilometers from downtown Sydney. There is a narrow crescent of sand about 100 meters long, and nudists also spread out on the large rocks at either end of the beach. It becomes very crowded on weekends and holidays, when the bay is filled with boaters. There are no facilities here. In summer, there is a boat that comes around every few hours selling beverages and ice cream, but you should at least bring water with you.

From Cobblers, is is just a 500 meter walk to Obelisk Beach on the south-facing side of the peninsula. Obelisk is also a nude beach. In a nutshell, Cobblers is a straight beach and Obelisk is a gay beach. Of the nude beaches on Sydney Harbour, Cobblers draws the most women and families.
