Stinteck is part of the municipality of Westerdeichstrich, and both Stinteck and Westerdeichstrich are just north of the coastal resort town of Büsum. About 3.5 kilometers north of the popular textile beach at Büsum, there is a designated FKK beach in Stinteck. As you face the sea from the pinpointed parking lot, the FKK is immediately to your right (north), while a seaside camping area is in the opposite direction.

The FKK beach extends several hundred meters, and both ends are clearly signed. There are beach chairs for rent in the FKK area, and there is a café next to the parking lot. As is the case with most mainland German beaches along the North Sea, a wide expanse of mud flats is exposed at low tide. Since there is no sand that is always dry, the beach chairs are set up on a grassy lawn.
