Generally regarded as the nicest and most scenic of Usedom's FKK beaches, the FKK area of Koserow Strand sits beneath a steep wooded hillside called "Streckelsberg." At 56 meters high, Streckelsberg is the third highest point on Usedom. Three breakwaters about 100 meters offshore protect the broad beach from the full impact of strong waves.
It is possible to get to the beach via a staircase down the hillside (see the directions below) or by going to the main textile area at the pier and walking east about one kilometer. The pier is located at coordinates 54.0602, 14.0006 (Map It).
GETTING THERE / PARKING:
Go to Google Maps, click Get Directions, choose your departure and make your destination:
Förster-Schrödter-Strasse, Koserow, Germany
The small seaside town of Koserow is located just off route B111, and Hauptstrasse is the 3-kilometer-long loop road through town that intersects B111 twice. Assume that you turn onto Hauptstrasse at the eastern of the two intersections, which is the closer of the two intersections to the town center. Follow Hauptstrasse northwest for one kilometer, then turn right onto Förster-Schrödter-Strasse. At this point, the entrance to the beach is 700 meters straight ahead, at the dead end of Förster-Schrödter-Strasse. The first 300 meters of Förster-Schrödter-Strasse is a regular street. After the cross street Vinetastrasse, Förster-Schrödter-Strasse is a pedestrian street. There is not a designated parking lot near the beach entrance, so look for streetside parking in the area. The staircase to the beach is located at coordinates 54.0554,14.0081 (Map It). Facing the sea from the stairs, the FKK area is to your right.
