This beach is grouped with the Usedom beaches due to its relative proximity, but Hafffbad Ueckermünde is not actually on the island of Usedom, nor does it face the Baltic Sea. Haffbad Ueckermünde is on the south side of Stettiner Haff, which is one of the large lagoons between Usedom and the mainland. The inland shoreline of Usedom is about 9 kilometers across the lagoon from Haffbad Ueckermünde.

The are just a few sandy beaches along the Usedom area lagoons, and Haffbad Ueckermünde is one of them. The beach is just east of the mouth of the river Uecker, a few kilometers from the town center of Ueckermünde. Haffbad Ueckermünde is just under 800 meters long. The northwest end of the beach, where the main amenities are located, is textile. The southeast end of the beach (to the right when facing the water) is FKK. There is a parking fee of €1.50.

Go to Google Maps, click Get Directions, choose your departure and make your destination:

Ueckerstrasse is the main street through Ueckermünde. Follow Ueckerstrasse southeast (toward Poland). On the eastern side of town, you'll cross a bridge over the river Uecker. About 250 meters after the bridge, you'll reach a roundabout. Continue straight ahead through it. About 300 meters farther along, keep straight ahead (ignoring the right-hand turn toward Eggesin). After the Eggesin turnoff, Ueckerstrasse will become Belliner Strasse. Continue about one kilometer farther, then turn left onto Neuendorfer Strasse. Go north about 800 meters to the Neuendorf neightborhood, where the road will curve to the left and become Haffstrasse. Continue northwest another 500 meters, then turn right into the large beach parking lot. The lot is at coordinates 53.7473, 14.0713 (Map It).
