Feldmochinger See, located about 14 kilometers northwest of the city center of Munich in the borough of Feldmoching, is close to the edge of the city limits. It is the largest lake that is located within the city limits of Munich. The lake is about 750 meters long and 250 meters wide, and there is a large, designated FKK meadow at the southwestern shore. There is a small café as well as a restaurant across the lake along the north shore.

S-bahn/U-bahn station Feldmoching (lines S1 and U2), at coordinates 48.2136, 11.5413 (Map It), is about 3 kilometers away from the FKK area of the lake. From the S-bahn/U-bahn station, you can board bus 172 (toward Karlsfeld). Get off at stop Feldmochinger See at the north end of the lake, at coordinates 48.2183,11.5177 (Map It).
