Flaucher is an island in the river Isar in the southern part of Munich, about 600 meters north of the Munich zoo (Tierpark Hellabrunn). Although nude bathing occurs at various pockets along the Isar throughout Munich, Flaucher seems to be the most popular of these riverbank areas. Nude bathers on the pebbly island "beach" are visible to strollers along the east bank of the river. There is a biergarten nearby on the west bank of the river and several food concessions along the riverside trails.
