The area between Longnook Beach and Ballston Beach is one of the better nude beaches on Cape Cod. Parking for either beach is only accessible with a Truro town parking permit mid-days between the third Saturday in June until Labor Day, but in the spring and fall, and after 4pm during the summer months, anyone may park there. Arriving by bicycle might be another option for non-residents. After the steep descent from the Longnook parking area and walk to the right for about a half a mile to find the nude section which is solely under the control of the Cape Cod National Seashore, and officials tend to ignore nudity in this section. From the Ballston Beach parking area it's about a half mile walk to the left. With big dunes behind you and seals and whales in the ocean before you, this place is a beautiful beach experience, but big surf and the occasional great white swimming by may make you think twice about going for a swim. Bring everything you need as there are no facilities there.
